Calcium & base saturation
Calcium drives cell division and stalk strength. Most corn fields are running below 65% calcium base saturation without knowing it. Pro-Cal corrects the base and the pH at the same time.
AgriTec System · Row crop
Higher yields. Stronger stalks. Defended every step.
Corn doesn't lie. If the soil is short on calcium, organic matter, or boron, it shows up in your final yield, usually 20–40 bushels too late. AgriTec's corn system reads the whole soil test, builds a five-step program around what your fields actually need, and is backed by a replicated Agricenter trial where every AgriTec program out-yielded the untreated check by 18 to 24 bu/ac.
02 / The growth plan
The whole corn season up top, then the general program below. Every pass is shown at the exact stage it targets, so the picture and the plan line up.
This is a general roadmap, not an exact prescription for your farm. No two fields, soil tests, planting dates, or seasons line up the same way, so your stages, rates, and timing will differ. Treat the timeline below as the shape of the program; we size the exact stack and pin every pass to your soil test and your acres.
Each pass has a window. Hit it and it pays; miss it and the dollar's mostly spent. Tap a pass to see what it returns.
Pro-Cal Bio-Activated Liquid Calcium
2–5 gal/ac
Sets the pH and calcium base saturation foundation. Rate scales with starting pH (4.5 → 6.5+).
The highest-leverage dollar in the whole program. On a soil that can't release what you apply, your N and P underperform no matter how much you buy. Correct pH and the calcium base first and every downstream input works harder. It's why the calcium-led Agricenter plots ran 166 bu/ac against a 142 bu untreated check.
YieldMaker
1 qt/ac
Micronutrient and kelp pass at the root zone. Boosts uptake, early vigor, and stress tolerance from day one.
A quart at the root zone that pays back in uptake efficiency. Micros and kelp mean more of the fertility you already bought actually reaches the plant, plus early standability and stress tolerance you can't buy back mid-season.
3-18-18+ Orthophosphate
4 gal/ac
Immediately available N-P-K plus a micronutrient blend. Drives early root development and vigor.
Early root mass sets the ear-size ceiling. A few gallons of immediately-available P-K in the furrow buys vigor in the first two weeks (the window that decides how big the ear can get), long before a sidedress can help.
Nitro-Maxx+
6–8 gal/ac, split
Sustained nitrogen across vegetative and reproductive stages. Slow-release liquid N is 6–7× more available than dry urea with far less burn and volatility loss, so fewer pounds do the work. Total N is sized to your yield goal with your agronomist.
Splitting nitrogen to match corn's demand curve puts more of every nitrogen dollar in the grain tank instead of the air or the water table. We point growers at 32/28 for this pass rather than selling them ours: it does the job and usually costs less delivered.
BoroLift + YieldMaker
1 gal + 1 qt/ac
Boron defends pollen viability and kernel set. YieldMaker covers micros + kelp metabolism during peak demand.
The cheapest bushels in the program. Boron protects pollen viability and kernel set at the one window that can't be redone. Miss it and you've lost kernels no later pass can put back.
Calcium drives cell division and stalk strength. Most corn fields are running below 65% calcium base saturation without knowing it. Pro-Cal corrects the base and the pH at the same time.
Corn needs nitrogen across the whole growing season, not all at once. Slow-release liquid N split between planting and side-dress keeps supply matched to demand and cuts the burn and volatility losses that come with one heavy pass.
Orthophosphate fertilizer puts P and K into the root zone in a plant-available form from day one, with no waiting for breakdown. Critical for early root development and tasseling.
Boron drives pollen viability. Zinc runs your enzyme systems for nitrogen metabolism. Without them, every pound of N applied does less work. YieldMaker delivers chelated micros plus kelp in a single pass.
On heavy or tight soils, Aerate breaks compaction at a molecular level so roots can chase water and nutrients without machinery passes.

03 / The trial data
Five treatments, four replications, randomized complete block. Dent corn DK64-69, planted May 31, harvested Nov 10, 2022. All four AgriTec programs significantly out-yielded the untreated check; LSD at P = .05 is 15.1 bu, so the treated programs are statistically equivalent to each other.
