Evaluation of AgriTec Products in Cotton
Pushing Nitro-Maxx+ to 25 gal/ac grew significantly more cotton, +81 lb/ac lint over the identical program at standard rate (1,155 vs 1,074), significant at P = .013, and the fiber held its grade.

The breakdown
What happened, measurement by measurement.
Every chart below is transcribed from the report you can open above. Green means the AgriTec program won the measure outright; grey means it came in statistically even, which on a quality measure is the result you want — the yield came without a give-back.
Seed cotton yield
Seed cotton followed lint: the high-rate Nitro-Maxx+ program won both.
Fiber strength
The extra lint came with no loss of fiber strength.
Fiber length
Staple length held on every program.
Stand at emergence
Every program started from the same stand.
Everything else that was measured
Including the measurements that did not move. A trial that only reports what improved isn't a trial.

What the report says
- Raising split-applied Nitro-Maxx+ from 15 to 25 total gal/ac added 81 lb/ac of lint over the identical program at standard rate, a 7.5% gain.
- Seed cotton followed the same pattern: 2,962 lb/ac for the high-rate program against 2,754 standard.
- HVI classing found no statistical differences between programs on any of the five fiber properties measured.
- Plant populations were statistically identical, so the yield gap came from nutrition rather than stand.
- Adding Bio-Act alone (Program 1 vs 2) did not measurably change yield in this trial.
Trial notes & scope
- There is no untreated check. All three treatments are AgriTec programs, so the comparison is high-rate against standard-rate, not against untreated ground.
- Lint yield is a calculated basis: ginned at 39% gin turnout from hand-weighed seed cotton.
- Stand, fiber and quality parameters were not significant.
- Single site, one season, 12 plots.
