01

The local challenge

Alfalfa is a nitrogen-fixing legume that has to hold a stand for four to five years, and it can only do that on calcium-saturated, well-buffered soil. When Ca base saturation drops below about 65%, the nodules slow, the crown weakens, and the stand thins a year early. That's the most expensive thing that can happen to a hay budget.

Deep phosphorus and potassium feed crown depth and regrowth; sulfur holds the protein that grades the hay; boron defends seed set and stand longevity. Dry broadcast programs stratify P-K near the surface and skip the sulfur and boron almost entirely.

02

What Agricenter documented

In Agricenter International trials, the full AgriTec alfalfa program lifted tonnage from a 3.5 ton/ac control to 5.5 ton/ac, a +57% per-cutting lift documented in the Alfalfa Production Catalog.

Growers see it on their own stands. A Texas grower: "We got a ¾ ton increase on this year's first cut, more from this first cutting than we did from cuttings 4–6 last year, just using Nitro-Maxx+." An Iowa grower ran Pro-Cal test strips: "You can tell a night-and-day difference. The ground I treated is thicker and much taller than the ground I didn't."

Why the liquid program protects longevity

Pro-Cal raises Ca base saturation in weeks, keeping the nitrogen-fixing nodules working through the life of the stand. 3-18-18+ is built for legumes: orthophosphate P and K that drives root depth and crown vigor, not just a surface dressing.

Pro-Sul per cutting holds protein at the premium the hay market pays for, and BoroLift at bloom defends seed set and stand density. Every pass is a foliar-friendly liquid that rides with the sprayer between cuttings.

The process

From your soil test to your program. Five days, max.

No back-and-forth, no upsell calls, no rate cards. Send the lab report, get a custom program. Free.

  1. 01 Same day

    You send your soil test

Snap a photo of the lab PDF, upload a CSV, or email the file. We accept anything: Midwest Labs, A&L, Waters, Servi-Tech, you name it.

  2. 02 Day 1–2

    An agronomist reads it

Not a sales rep. A real agronomist trained on the soil science. They look at every column: pH, base saturation, micros, organic matter.

  3. 03 Day 3–5

    We write your program

Field-by-field plays with product, rate, timing, and the rationale behind each call. Multi-tier (good/better/best) so you choose the spend.

  4. 04 When it lands

    You get the document

Same kind of multi-page program you just flipped through: branded, redaction-free, priced to today's market. No charge. No catch.

We built that one for free.
