AgriTec reads it

and builds your 2027 program

A free state soil test, a free read from an agronomist, and a program built on your own numbers.

North Carolina's soil lab tests your fields free through Nov 30. Send us the report and we'll build your program from what the soil test shows, what your fields have yielded, and what you're aiming for.

Free until Nov 30. $5 a sample after.

Leave your name and number, and we'll open the NCDA&CS soil testing page in a new tab.

How it works

Three steps. No fee.

01

Pick up boxes and forms

Sample boxes and information sheets are free at your county Extension office. The submission forms are also on the NCDA&CS site.

02

Pull samples and send them to Raleigh

One sample per field or management zone. Follow NCDA&CS's commercial-grower sampling guide, and get samples to the lab by Nov 30 to test free.

What your program is built on

The state lab gives you numbers. We turn them into a plan.

The NCDA&CS report gives you lime and fertilizer recommendations. We add your history and goals, and send back the products, rates and timing for each field.

1 of 3

Your soil test

Every number on the report: pH, the lime requirement, P and K, base saturation, and the micros. We don't stop at N-P-K.

2 of 3

Your history

What each field has yielded, what went on it and what's worked. A field that's been holding back shows up in the history before it shows up on the soil test.

3 of 3

Your goals

Yield targets, tons of hay, stand recovery, a tighter budget. We build the program around what you want next season.

Leave your info

We'll follow up on your soil test.

Haven't sampled yet? Waiting on results? Tell us where you are. An AgriTec agronomist will check in, help with sampling if you need it, and read the report as soon as it's back.

Where are you with your soil test?

Free, no obligation. We only use your info to follow up on your soil test, and we never sell or share it. Already have your report? Email it to info@agritecint.com, call (833) 247-4832, or upload it here.

Questions growers ask.

Is this really free?

Yes, both parts. NCDA&CS tests NC soil at no charge through Nov 30, 2026. Our agronomist's read and the program we write from it are free too, with no obligation to buy anything.

What happens after Nov 30?

The state lab charges $5 a sample starting Dec 1, 2026. It's still one of the cheapest soil tests anywhere, and our read is still free. If you want to sample in December, leave your info below and we'll help you plan it.

Is AgriTec part of NCDA&CS?

No. AgriTec International isn't affiliated with NCDA&CS. The state lab runs your test. We read the report and write the program.

Do you work with hay and pasture?

Yes. Hay, pasture and row crops all use the same process: send us the report and tell us what you're growing.

What if my soil test came from a different lab?

Send it anyway. We read reports from every major lab. If it's more than a year old, we'll tell you which numbers need a fresh sample.

The NCDA&CS soil testing fee schedule is from ncagr.gov as of Sept 2026: free Apr 1 – Nov 30, 2026, and $5/sample from Dec 1, 2026. AgriTec International isn't affiliated with the North Carolina Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services.

Where should we send your free read?

Leave your name and number and we'll open the NCDA&CS soil testing page. When your report is back, an AgriTec agronomist will follow up to read it with you, free.
